UC San Diego Main Gym - San Diego, Ca
The Main Gym is an iconic UC San Diego (UCSD) venue with a rich history that traces back to the earliest days of the University. The Main Gym is the centerpiece of an athletic complex that includes Muir Field, the Natatorium, the Recreation Gym, outdoor tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts and sand volleyball courts. Located in the community of La Jolla, UCSD is an ideal San Diego sports complex.

The Main Gym was previously the home court for the UC San Diego NCAA Men's and Women's Volleyball and Basketball teams. It is currently the home for the NCAA Fencing program and is a key facility for the UCSD Recreation program. The facility itself features a hardwood court with 6 basketball hoops and a court divider to separate the floor in two, electronic scoreboard and retractable bleachers. Above the court, on one side there is a fitness facility with weight and cardio equipment. On the other side is a dance and tumbling space. On the second floor is another dance room that even has rigging for aerial gymnastics. On any given day, you will find people participating in basketball, volleyball, fencing, dancing, gymnastics and martial arts in the main gym.
