Originally built in 1958, Falcon Field has aged gracefully while benefitting from significant capital improvement along the way. The stadium has bleacher seating for 12,000. The concourse is non- contiguous, so the visitor and home sides of the field are separate. This is a useful feature for creating "half- house" configurations and managing resources and staffing costs. The concourses are wide which makes them great spaces for vendor and exhibitor displays. Other stadium amenities include a ticket office, concession stands, field lighting, scoreboard, ample parking and a press box with coaches suites. Additional field amenities such as locker rooms and meeting space are housed in the neighboring fieldhouse. Falcon Field has an all weather, 9 lane track surface and artificial turf football field. The track facilities are exceptional. The US National Track and Field Championship was held at Falcon Field in 1990 and the venue continues to meet national track event standards. Beyond intercollegiate track and football events, Falcon Field is a super functional large public assembly facility that works great for film shoots, all sorts of field sport activities and functional fitness (Crossfit) competitions. We have done a number of the functional fitness events here and could not have envisioned a better venue. The stadium environment was perfect for creating different WODs as we were able to set up the pullup rig at the base of the bleachers, create a track activation and program a third workout on the field to create a diverse set of exercise routines. The throws field to the south of the stadium was great as a participant "camping" location and the concourse and plazas were perfect for sponsor activations.
